How to measure lobbying?

How to measure lobbying?

Take part in the expert debate and get a better understanding of the complexities of lobbying!

Campaigning, advocacy, and lobbying are legitimate activities in political decision-making processes. However, quantifying the success of lobbying remains a complex matter. How do we define and measure the success of lobbying? Which parameters measure effectiveness?

These questions demonstrate the need to take a closer look at methods for evaluating lobbying activities. SEAP aims to address these questions by organising a panel discussion with representatives from different sectors.

Aims of the event:

  • Explore methods for measuring the effectiveness of lobbying.
  • Compare quantitative and qualitative criteria for evaluating lobbying success.
  • Understand the perspectives of different lobbying organisations in relation to success metrics.
  • Concrete tips for evaluating lobbying efforts.

The insights gained at this event will be of great value to public affairs professionals as they will improve their ability to understand the complexities of evaluating lobbying efforts.
